Legends in Form, an exhibition of new work by young upcoming sculptor, Dubhaltach Ó Colmáin was opened in Working Artist studios on Friday, 4th March 2011 by leading Irish-based sculptor and traditional boat-builder, Holger Lonze PhD. The opening was very well attended by an extremely enthusiastic crowd, reaction was ecstatically positive and, even in the times that are in it, sales were made and commissions discussed.

It is Dubhaltach's first solo exhibition and shows a maturity and technical expertise belying his youth. The work, both sculpture and two-dimensional, reflects Dubhaltach's deep interest in Mythology, history and the human form.

The witty and insightful speech by Holger Lonze was full of support, approbation and encouragement. The evening was rounded off with music and craic in Outer Space 'til the wee, small hours, God help us!

A slideshow of the evening can be seen here and photos of the new work can be seen here.
