Sharon told a meeting of the American Jewish Association in Jerusalem that Jews around the world should relocate to Israel as early as possible.

But for those living in France, he added, moving was a "must" because of rising violence against Jews there.

However, French foreign ministry travel advice to its citizens says the risk of attacks is "very high" across Israel. Travellers are advised to avoid public transport and show heightened vigilance in public places.

Ha'aretz reports:A Sharon envisions a million new immigrants this year, 20,000 of them French. Whereas before the main thrust of Zionist recruitment had been toward the East, directed at the former captive nations of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact, Sharon proposed a complete turnaround:
"One necessary change would be for the relevant agencies (see below), to shift their focus from distressed countries to the prosperous West - what the Jewish Agency defines as 'immigration by choice.' The problem is that there is no precedent in Zionist history for mass immigration of this sort. 'The dominant factor in mass immigration was distress,' said Prof. Sergio Della Pergola of Hebrew University. Nevertheless, he said, it is possible to observe signs of distress even in the wealthy West – with France being the prime example.
  "Dr. Erik Cohen of Bar-Ilan University's school of education, who recently conducted a study of French Jews, concurred, saying that interest in immigration is at an all-time high. 'This isn't an exodus that will begin from one day to the next,' he said, 'but before such an exodus, one hears an echo – and I heard this echo.' Cohen said it 'would not be impossible' to bring 50,000 French Jews here, particularly, he said, as 90 percent of French Jews already have friends or relatives here."

Dennis Ross, former U.S. Presidential envoy for 'peace process' now works for Jewish Agency and Israel

Remember now, this is the very same 'Ambassador' Dennis Ross whom the 'even-handed' Americans insisted be the top 'peace process negotiator' for a decade or so between Israel and the Palestinians. Remember as well that the much flaunted and constantly lied about 'peace process' Ross directed erupted in recent years -- as MER had predicted all along by the way -- into the worst mayhem and bloodshed ever. It also has brought worse than apartheid conditions to the Palestinian people and a great escalation in hatred and what the Americans love to simply call 'terrorism' regardless of causes, distinctions, places, and realities.

And now, after immediately moving from the U.S. government payroll to that of Washington's powerful Israeli-Jewish lobby -- with which he was formerly associated by the way -- Ross has gone to work directly for the Jewish Agency and the Israelis urging still more Jews worldwide to 'return to the promised land' and settle in 'the Jewish state'.

The Jewish Agency, by the way, has existed since before the establishment of the Israeli state with the main goal of bringing Jews from wherever they might be to settle in what the whole world then called "Palestine"; and whether by design or result to displace the Arab Palestinian people who were living there.

Historical responsibility needs to be pointed in the right direction now, especially in view of what has happened throughout the Middle East considerably as a result of U.S. and Israeli policies.

There is no doubt, regardless of how much public officials deny it, that these policies have considerably fueled the still growing hatreds which have now spread throughout much of the world for the U.S., Israel, and yes, sad to say, for "the Jews".

The tremendous propaganda machine that so hyped Ross and his nearly all Jewish-Zionist "negotiating team" has grown even bolder and more outrageously arrogant and deceitful in recent years. It has as well tragically succeeded for the time being at least in a near-total takeover of 'acceptable' commentary and discourse in official Washington.

Five days after Prime Minister Ariel Sharon called on French Jewry to immigrate to Israel, 200 French Jews are slated to arrive in the country this week under the framework of the “Communal Aliyah” project.

The 200 Jews, mainly families with young children, will arrive primarily from Paris and Marseille and will be taken to Jerusalem, Ashdod, Ashkelon and Netanya.
